Job Description

Nightwing is seeking an Information Review and Release Analyst in the Herndon, VA area in support of a dynamic Intelligence Community component offering a flexible work schedule. This is a research analyst/case manager position in the Historical Programs Staff, offering a unique opportunity to play a key role in helping make the sponsor's history and accomplishments available to the public while protecting still-sensitive equities from release. Duties may include: assisting with the selection/curation of records collections associated with historically significant topics, conducting research and records searches, implementing project plans, tasking documents for review, conducting quality control/assurance, coordinating with Information Review Offices, and other equity-holding offices and agencies, and preparing collections for public release.The selected candidate must be able to consistently deliver high-quality, accurate work, and be willing to perform ad-hoc duties as needed. Candidates are encouraged to explore their creative side for identifying process improvement ideas.

Requirements:

Solid understanding of sponsor classification practices• Excellent Customer Service, engagement, and collaboration skills• Outstanding judgement and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy• Superb research, analytic, and problem-solving skills• Excellent time management and organizational skills• Excellent written and oral communications skills• Knowledge of the statutes, executive orders, and regulations governing information disclosure or the willingness and ability to quickly learn•• Proficiency in on-line tools such as MS Word, Excel, and Access, and other required systems to be able to perform the duties• Must be flexible and adaptable to changes, when needed. *The ability to multi-task is vital**

• Knowledge of sponsor culture and procedures • The ability to assist with process improvement initiatives • Knowledge of the sponsor's case management and redaction tools, or a willingness to learn quickly • Understanding of sponsor's records management and/or search methodologies • Project Management skills

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1

Required Education:

A bachelor’s degree, and/or high school diploma and 11+ years of experience specific to the skills listed.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
