Shift : 3rd Shift

Location: Assembly Drive

Administer the daily activities related to parts issuance for the maintenance department. Assist Maintenance Planner in the administration of departmental projects. Issue and update maintenance documents as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

  • Deliver MRO parts to Mechanics on the lines in a timely fashion. Create Work Orders to document repair, time and parts issued.

  • Assist in determining needed parts that are not stocked, coordinate expedited delivery if necessary.

  • Determine appropriate stocking levels in the CMMS and manage orders appropriately.

  • Work with vendors on parts that need recoating/re-rubberizing/repairing. Also work with vendors who accept old parts as trade in.

  • Coordinate with radio vendor on repairs/warrantied work.

  • Ensure scrap material is picked up in a timely manner.

  • Make vinyl, and engraved signs per internal customers instructions.

  • Maintain stock levels of all needed sign supplies.

  • Make Asset Tags as requested.

  • Assist in receiving stock items with entry to system, replenishment of shelves.

  • Perform routine spare parts cycle counting on a weekly basis. Coordinate with Machine Shop on sharpening of all blades.

  • Update and distribute changeover documentation.

  • Update and distribute preventative maintenance (PM) documents.

  • Communicates with the scheduling group to add the PM’s to the schedule.

  • Communicate with the scheduling group to reduce change overs as needed.

  • Weekly hour meter readings for all equipment.

  • Update setup documentation to insure all settings are current and accurate.

  • Communicate with The Business Units for maintenance setup materials and other component sample requests.

  • Complete change control. Route and track changes of documents in the document control system.

  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Required:

  • TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.

  • Basic Mathematical Skills

  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.

  • Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.

  • Basic Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems that involve only a few concrete variables in standardize situations.

Preferred:

  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments.

  • Ability to work independently and/or part of a team.

  • Ability to display excellent time management skills.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
