Position Purpose:

Within the North America Municipal Water Contract Operations Business Unit, we are looking for a Manager of Sales Efficiency & Commercial Excellence to join our Sales and Marketing Division. The candidate will report directly to the SVP Sales and Marketing, and work closely with regional presidents, regional VPs, Sales team, communications, technical staff and senior management to support all growth initiatives of the company.

This is a full-time office-based hybrid position based in Paramus, NJ with the ability to work 1-2 days from home.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective sales processes (Win Process) for Municipal Water (water and wastewater) Contract Operations and Capital Project Management of Veolia North America, across the US.

  • Develop and monitor effective digital tools for the commercial growth of the Operations & Maintenance and CPM (Capital Project Management), including but not limited to, Salesforce (Veolia’s Customer Relationship Management Platform).

  • Monitor progress via growth targets, analyze commercial pipelines.

  • Manage the monthly/quarterly commercial performance reporting for Veolia North America and the Veolia group.

  • Support the business developers in the use of digital commercial tools, implementation of the best practices and processes, provide training and demonstration if necessary.

  • Support the Net Promoter Score, a Veolia Group strategic initiative aiming at assessing customer relationships on an annual basis, by cooperating with regional VPs, Sales team, Veolia North America Development, Strategy and Innovation team and the corporate Communication team.

  • Benchmark good practices within Veolia group and other BUs such as Veolia France, etc.

  • Perform data analysis, define contracts portfolio footprint.

  • Lead and manage lessons learnt as well as loopback analyses, document what works well and what can be improved in our commercial approach and practices.

  • Help prepare sales plans, growth strategy, long-term goals and budgets. You will also help put together presentations for executives, organize workshops and assist in facilitating group meetings.

  • Communicate and influence at a senior level.

  • Support marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Sales, Business or other related field; Master or other advanced degrees a plus

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Efficiency, Strategy and Marketing

  • Experienced in process design and implementation, data analysis

  • In-depth knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce

  • Proficient with Google Suite.
