ABOUT THIS ROLE

Our team is looking for a Marketing Technology (MarTech) expert who’s passionate about marketing, both organic and paid. The mission of the MarTech team is to provide Audible marketing and creative teams with tools and systems that allow them to efficiently and effectively orchestrate and activate a dialogue with all prospects and customers. We are responsible for building, buying, or onboarding the tools and capabilities that enable Audible to continuously deliver and innovate for our customers. The Senior Product Manager - MarTech Products will represent the voice of the customer, partnering with Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing to define a customer-obsessed product roadmap, empowering the organization to harness the power of data to get the right message in front of the right customer at the right time.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced, entrepreneurial, and strategic product leader who has built, launched, and scaled disruptive products. You can mobilize and lead an organization to embrace new technologies to provide better experiences to customers. You have both strategic thinking and operational excellence skills, as well as a passion for results and an attitude that anything is possible. You are passionate about building products that allow marketers to use data to better reach prospects and customers through paid, organic, and lifecycle marketing. You are a highly-collaborative partner with other functional teams who drives teams to deliver the best products to our prospects and customers. You are an exceptional verbal and written communicator with a knack for making complex topics simple, while evangelizing and inspiring people at all levels of the organization based on a shared vision.

As a Senior Product Manager - MarTech Products, you will....

  • Build the strategy and roadmap for marketing technology across paid and lifecycle marketing, while directing day-to-day execution towards that vision

  • Work directly with engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to build product solutions and integrate with 1P and 3P tools

  • Evangelize use of marketing technology within Audible, providing clear documentation and training to our internal users on the products we build and support

  • Continually monitor marketing technology tools and trends to ensure Audible is delivering high quality messages to our customers

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience leading the delivery of marketing, advertising, or data products

  • Experience in end-to-end product delivery, including defining and owning roadmaps, contributing to engineering discussions, managing product tradeoffs, and taking new products and features from zero to one

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise of marketing technology products and systems

  • Demonstrated expertise of data technology products and systems

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, autonomously, and cross-functionally

  • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution

  • Experience representing and advocating for customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • Expertise in managing multidisciplinary and cross-functional initiatives
