Description

Dani Rivera, with Robert Half, is collaborating with a client located outside the St. Louis area to recruit an Accounting Manager. This role will be overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and implementing internal controls and costing standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this individual will serve as the primary accounting person. Experience in manufacturing is essential, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Finance degrees will be considered only if it accompanied by manufacturing experience. It's worth noting that this role offers the possibility of a lot of remote work; however, the candidate should be comfortable commuting during the initial training period and be available on-site during month-end weeks. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant to contribute to the establishment and improvement of processes.

Requirements

• BA in Accounting required.

• Experience in Manufacturing required, and Cost Accounting required

• Experience in Auditing is essential for this role

• Proficiency in Sage 100 is preferred

• Must have a good understanding of Internal Control systems in an accounting context.
