INTERNAL AUDITOR SUMMARY
The aim of the Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. (TAI) internal audit department is to review and evaluate the progress of any and all business operations, express opinions thereon, give support and recommendations for the improvement of the business operation and assist the effective achievement of the business objectives of the company in a fair and independent capacity. The internal auditor provides expertise and analysis to managers and other employees within the department while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. The auditor also performs technical or professional tasks related to support the overarching goals of the department. We are looking for an IT Auditor who will also work on other internal audit tasks as required.
INTERNAL AUDITOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, Coordinates and executes standard audit programs or develop new audit programs as the need arises.
Performs Standard audit procedures utilizing established matrices or develop new templates as needed.
Prepares findings and recommendations, and presents to management.
Understands Basic IT Fundamentals
Understands Basic Network Connectivity
Assists team and contractors in completing assigned audit tasks
Pursues professional development opportunities, including internal and external training and professional association membership
Other duties and projects as assigned.
INTERNAL AUDITOR EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
The ideal Internal Auditor will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field and typically 1- 3 years of experience in a relevant field such as Information Technology or prior audit experience over Information Technology.
CISA, CIA or CPA preferred or ability to obtain such certification
This position is an entry level position for an IT Auditor. Assisting with Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs), the position will also require special IT Audit projects. The auditor will also assist with JSOX related audits surrounding financial controls, corporate level controls and process level controls.
