Position Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project/Task Manager IV to join our team. As the contractor on-site program manager, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction, management, and oversight for contractor personnel. You will serve as the expert functional guide to employees and interface with government management to resolve problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving contractor personnel issues and establishing priorities of work based on government goals and objectives.

This position is located on Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the contractor on-site program manager, providing day-to-day direction, management, and oversight for contractor personnel.

  • Provide expert functional guidance to employees and interface with government management to resolve problems.

  • Resolve contractor personnel problems and issues identified by the Government lead or Contracting Officers' Representative (COR).

  • Establish priorities of work to subordinates based on government goals and objectives.

  • Interface between the government customer, COR, and contractor.

  • Perform other project management direct support functional roles.

  • Distribute and balance workload in accordance with established workflows to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned tasks.

  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees following established procedures and practices.

  • Lead the team in assessing strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership in exploring alternatives and determining improvements.

  • Articulate and communicate assignments, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, suspenses, and time frames for completion to the team.

  • Assign work to personnel based on workload, ability, and priority of assignment, and provide instruction and assistance as necessary.

  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training contractor employees.

  • Ensure the performance of all contractual requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Based on contract requirements, US citizenship and a SECRET security clearance are required

  • Over 18 years of experience.

  • Demonstrated competency in communication (written and oral), leadership, team management, negotiation, personal organization, risk management, and the Defense Acquisition System.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $209,100.00.
