We are looking for an experienced and talented Assistant Controller with a strong background in FP& A and Business Intelligence (BI) to join our finance team.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Controller will support the financial operations of the company by overseeing critical accounting functions and providing insights through financial planning and analysis (FP& A) and business intelligence (BI). This role will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a mix of accounting expertise, analytical skills, and experience with business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Lead the FP& A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Utilize business intelligence (BI) tools to create insightful reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and analyze trends to identify areas for operational improvement.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and ensure compliance.

  Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master's in Finance/Accounting) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on FP& A and business intelligence.

• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP, IFRS).
