Description:

• The Diesel Mechanic performs all engine and emission maintenance as well as repairs on all trucks and equipment and where necessary, can perform all drive train component work, as well as suspension and steering systems repairs and maintenance on heavy duty trucks

• Removes components for repair or replacement such as, but not limited to, injector, starters, water pumps, radiators, brakes, etc

• Knowledge of a vehicles engine, emission systems, transmission, hydraulic and electrical systems to perform preventive and repair maintenance functions.

First Shift

M-F with weekend availability if needed

3+ years of experience with diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines

Experience with lubrication systems, cooling systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, suspension transmission systems, ect.

Heavy duty trucks they will be working on include, but are not limited to: flatbeds, dump trucks, box trucks, freightliners, garbage trucks, bucket trucks, refrigerator trucks, ect.

Diesel engines types include: cummins, Mack, volvo, ect.

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
